I'm interested in the experience of perception,
and in the way pictures become the content of knowledge.
My work spans several disciplines, including traditional lens-based photography, lensless photography, digital and analog collage and montage, animation, web puzzles, and code pictures. I also write narrative journals, prose poetry,
and short essays about learning photography for my blog.
My teaching spans photography, digital art, art education, and critical theory.
I teach as an adjunct professor at:
Teachers College Columbia University
Parsons the New School for Design
International Center of Photography
The College of Staten Island
New York University
Thanks for the conversation!
