Scanning China

In 2005 I began going to Beijing and Shanghai to teach photography, explore the galleries, and produce commercial photography for clients in China and the United States.

For a period of about 16 months I traveled to China on five separate occasions, for stays of up to two months at a time. Overall, the work was extraordinary, perhaps the most exciting and challenging of my career.

This project is an on-going visual exploration of those experiences.
